Update Your Business Information

Quick version: Go to Settings and find the Business Information card to update your company name, phone, email, logo, service area, and trades.

Edit Your Business Details

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Find the Business Information card.
  3. Click the Edit button next to your business info.
  4. Update any of the following:
    • Business name -- the name that appears on estimates and invoices
    • Phone number -- your main business phone (10 digits)
    • Email -- your business email address
    • Website -- your company website (optional)
    • ZIP code -- your primary service area ZIP
    • Service radius -- how far you travel for jobs (5 to 100 miles)
  5. Click Save when you're done.

Upload or Change Your Logo

Your logo shows up on estimates, invoices, and PDFs you send to customers.

  1. In the Business Information card, look for Business Logo on the right side.
  2. Click the upload area or drag and drop your logo file.
  3. The logo updates immediately.

For best results, use a square or wide image (PNG or JPG). It will be resized to fit.

Set Your Target Cities

Target cities tell Fieldkit which areas you serve. These are also used for ad targeting if you run marketing campaigns.

  1. In the Business Information card, scroll down to the Target Cities section.
  2. Your cities are auto-suggested based on your ZIP code and service radius.
  3. Add or remove cities as needed (1 to 10 cities).
  4. Click Save to confirm.

If you see a yellow highlight around the Target Cities section, it means you haven't selected any cities yet. Pick at least one to get started.

Update Your Services

Your services list shows the types of work you do. This appears when creating estimates and jobs.

  1. In the Business Information card, find the Services section at the bottom.
  2. Click Edit to open the services editor.
  3. Add, remove, or reorder your services.
  4. Click Save when done.

Your services are organized by trade. If you offer multiple trades (like plumbing and HVAC), each trade has its own service list.

Tips

  • Your business code (shown in the top-right of the Business Information card) is your unique Fieldkit account identifier. You won't need to change this.
  • Changes to your business name update across all new documents. Existing estimates and invoices keep the name they were created with.
  • If you need to change your trade type (for example, switching from "Plumbing" to "Electrical"), contact support -- this is set during initial setup.
